Join the San Francisco Armenian American Community in support Myrna Melgar for Supervisor 2024

We are supporting our Supervisor Myrna Melgar in her re-election for Supervisor for District 7!

Myrna Melgar was elected to the San Francisco Board of Supervisors in November, 2020, representing District 7, home to the Khachaturian Armenian Community Center, KZV Armenian School, Calvary Armenian Church, St. John's Armenian Church, and Mt. Davidson Cross. She represents diverse communities, including 40 distinct neighborhoods, among them West Portal, Westwood Park, Forest Hill, Parkmerced, Golden Gate Heights, Inner Sunset, St. Francis Woods, Miraloma, and Monterey Heights.

In the 3 years since her election to the Board of Supervisors, Supervisor Melgar has worked very closely with the San Francisco Armenian American community on critical issues relating to the investigation of anti-Armenian hate crimes, the attacks on Artsakh and Armenia, as well as securing funding for Armenian festivals and cultural activities in District 7. Supervisor Melgar hosted the Human Rights Defender of the Republic of Armenia Arman Tatoyan and Armenian Parliamentarian Arthur Khachatryan.
