Our standing as a regional center of business has stressed a transportation infrastructure already facing challenges leaving Westside residents stranded by a public transit system that can’t meet our needs. As the home to major institutions like City College, SF State University, UC San Francisco and the Zoo it is imperative to ensure our public transportation routes are prioritized. As Supervisor, I will work hard to:

• Fix Muni - Secure funding to improve and maintain our transportation infrastructure and ensure trains and buses are clean, safe and reliable. 
• Expand transportation infrastructure - Push for increased investments in infrastructure to support population growth and changes in our transportation patterns, particularly around new developments, including the Balboa Reservoir, Parkmerced and Stonestown.
• Develop interagency collaborations - Work with MTA and BART to ensure our transportation corridors and bus stops are safe, walkable and clean and routes are better connected.
